We had to replace the top radiator hose on the way home(blew out) and will have to do the bottom one as well(does low coolant levels affect idle etc?)
BTW, is there somewhere on this forum like a glossary , mudmap of where various components are etc?
thanks again

I have en EF serier 2 GLI and recently whilst stuffing around with the dash lights i found that one of the warning lights did not have a globe in it. So i put a globe in and it now wont stop flashing. My guess is the last owner took it out so he could sell the car. The warning light is the one for low coolant but my coolant levels are fine. And i cant find a sensor that would measure the coolant level.... where is it???

Help appreciated
Rob

Hi Gunning. Hope you can help me. I drive a 92 EB2 GLI Falcon. I suspect my throttle position sensor is not working. I have really bad fuel consumption (i.e 4kms per litre) and the engine has erratic throttle behaviour when I depress the accelerator. If i run the car on gas, a slight press on the accelerator rams the engine but as the engine returns to idle speed, it dies down. Also, when accelerating smoothly, there's this vibration feeling, as if the car is void of fuel or air. I would...
