Hi
Looking for help. I have had my Ford for over three years now with no major problems till last week. It wouldn't start easily and would switch off if I turned on the aircon. Thinking it was simply the battery, I had it replaced but the problem persists. To make matters worse there is now a loud sound (almost like a plane flying overhead) from near right of the fan (when facing the front of the car) which is at its loudest when the car is just switched on or idling.

Any ideas? I can't get to a mechanic till next week and have no option but to use the car as is for the moment!
